1. Dai Yem Waterfall
Dai Yem Waterfall is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Son La that tourists cannot miss when traveling to this land. Dai Yem is located in Muong La commune, Moc Chau district, about 5 km from the center of Moc Chau town. This waterfall also has another name, Nang waterfall, because it is associated with the legend of a girl using her bib to save a young man from the flood.

When visiting Dai Yem waterfall , visitors will admire a waterfall about 100 meters high, divided into 2 separate floors. The first waterfall floor is about 70 meters high and branches into 9 small floors. Meanwhile, the remaining floor has 3 very beautiful floors. Between the 2 waterfalls is a relatively flat land for visitors to walk and sightsee.

When mentioning beautiful waterfalls in Son La , we cannot forget Chieng Khoa waterfall, also known as May waterfall, 7-storey waterfall. This waterfall is located in Chieng Khoa commune, Van Ho district, about 24km east of Moc Chau town center. Nang Tien waterfall and Chieng Khoa waterfall are quite close to each other, so you can combine exploring 2 waterfalls at the same time.

Chieng Khoa is a waterfall associated with the legend of the Ban Flower Festival Xen Ban – Xen Muong of the local people. Today, this waterfall has become a tourist destination in Son La, although it is just a small waterfall. The waterfall has a total of 7 floors, each floor is about 7 – 10 meters high. The water flows through each floor, rushing down, creating sounds that echo throughout the mountains and forests.

Visiting Chieng Khoa waterfall , visitors can both admire the white water like a strip of floating clouds and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding lush green vegetation. Tat Nang Waterfall originates from Ta Xam and Ta Piu streams, divided into 2 branches with 3 waterfall levels. The water flows all year round, rarely running out of water. Therefore, the water source from Tat Nang Waterfall contributes to irrigating the fields and trees. Here, local children often come to bathe and play together.
