7. Phuc Loc Pagoda

Phuc Loc Pagoda, also known as Phuc Loc Tu, is an ancient pagoda located on the banks of the Dao River. One of the ancient Nghia Hung tourist destinations , the pagoda was built 600 years ago. This is the place to worship Lieutenant Pham Cu Luong, who contributed to King Dinh Tien Hoang in starting the country. In 1993, Phuc Loc Pagoda was recognized as a National Monument.

This pagoda in Nam Dinh is also famous for the largest Dai Bi tower in the province, built in an architecture imbued with Vietnamese national culture and Buddhism. The tower has 13 floors and is 49 meters high, symbolizing the 49 days that Shakyamuni Buddha meditated patiently to reach absolute enlightenment. The tower’s external structure is octagonal, while the internal structure is quadrilateral, forming a supporting block from the 1st to 13th floors.
