Standing from outside, visitors can see the tall tower and 3 bells. Going inside, the domes are made of stone very elaborately and uniquely. The windows are inlaid with colorful religious paintings. The church is made of stone so the summer here is very cool, and the winter is unusually warm.
1.4. Bao Nham rock compaction
From Bao Nham stone church, visitors move 200m further and will see a stone mound that people call Bao Nham stone mound. The path up consists of 171 stairs that curve in an S shape, like the head and body of a dragon. The way down has 137 stone steps shaped like a dragon’s tail. On both sides of the path there are stone statues depicting the 14 stages of the Cross. All create a whole with unique and extremely attractive beauty.
