By personal vehicle:

  • Motorbike: From Hanoi, you follow the road to Lang Son and then turn onto Highway 18 in Bac Ninh city to go to Pha Lai. Coming to Ha Long, you pass Bai Chay bridge, continue going about 200 km and you will reach Mong Cai;
